Abstract

The Nuremberg trial preceded the adoption of the Genocide Convention by two years. There are direct connections between the two. The impetus for a genocide convention emerged out of dissatisfaction with the interpretation of crimes against humanity adopted by the International Military Tribunal in its final judgment
