Biography

Biography

Andy is Professor of Product Design and Engineering and Director of redLoop - a Design and Innovation Centre.

His expertise is in product, service and interaction design, innovation and technology development, which he practices with external clients through redLoop and through collaboration with research colleagues in the university and wider academic community.

He is an innovator and inveterate collaborator

He has been instrumental in gaining/delivering on over £8M of Research grant funding including CRADL (€5.5M Horizon 2020), CORLeiT (£537K UKRI Emergency COVID Funding – MDX/UCL), PNEUMACRIT (£1.8M EPSRC MDX/UCL/Cambridge), etc.
