| Title | Camavinga to Liverpool analysed, defensive 100th percentiles and a £43m risk calculation |
| Authors | Barter, P. |
| Abstract | When I look at Eduardo Camavinga, it is crystal clear why Liverpool would be interested. The numbers point that way, the footage points that way, and the role fit points that way too. There is, though, one huge caveat, and it is impossible to ignore it. Before you even get into the finer detail of passing, carrying or defensive work, you have to deal with the injury record. That is what makes him such an interesting case. On talent, there is a hell of a lot to like. On availability, there are real red flags. Any serious discussion about Camavinga to Liverpool has to hold both of those things at once. |
