Abstract

Dyslexia is a common learning disorder that impairs people's reading skills. It's so common that one in ten English speakers may have some form of dyslexia. This book examines the different varieties of dyslexia, the root causes of the disorder, theories about how it works, and its effect on the way that the brain processes written language. It also provides readers with strategies for dealing with dyslexia.
