Abstract

A brief account of my approach to writing a cadenza for Malcolm Arnold's Clarinet Concerto No 2, in the context of other cadenzas written for specific performers of this concerto. The cadenza in question was published by Composers Edition, by arrangement with Faber Music, in Malcolm Arnold's centenary year, 2021.
