TitleDeveloping fledgling social enterprises? A study of the support required and the means of delivering it
AuthorsLyon, F. and Ramsden, M.
Abstract

There has been growing interest in the role of social enterprises in providing goods and services (including new ways of delivering public services), jobs, skills and community development benefits, particularly to deprived urban and rural areas. This has resulted in the development of a wide range of support services. Developing fledging social enterprises? A study of the support required and the means of delivering it (2006) identifies the lessons learnt from a range of pilot projects that have developed and implemented different approaches.
