| Abstract | This project examined the types of support for self-employment and micro-businesses in rural areas. In particular it examined the support from Small Business Service, New Deal, and DEFRA. The types of co-ordination and partnerships were examined and the extent to which programmes were complementary or overlapping were explored in five case study areas. |
