Biography
Biography I have an undergraduate law degree and an MA in Industrial Relations. I have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 1972. In addition to writing textbooks on Employment Law, I have been researching the subject of employment protection for whistleblowers since
1994 and have published internationally in law, business ethics, information
technology and human resource management journals. I have considerable
experience as a consultant for the European Commission, Council of Europe, OECD
and UN Office on Drugs and Crime. I have given expert evidence (inter alia) to the
Budgetary Control Committee of the European Parliament and the UK Committee on
Standards in Public Life. (see also website profile and full cv)
Teaching Currently teaching Employment Law but have previously taught International Whistleblowing Law and Practice as a postgraduate module. Current supervision of two doctoral students
