| Abstract | Katy Deepwell speaks to artist Lea Kantonen about three major collaborative projects made with Pekka Kantonen: The Tent (1989-present), Every Moment (1990-1995) and The Mother (1999-present). The Tent was created in collaboration with three distinct indigenous groups: the Raramuri in Mexico, the Setu people in Estonia and the Sami in Norther Finland. The Tent was used as a site for exchanges and educational projects by the artists and the people amongst whom it was sited. |
