This chapter looks at the rationale in feminist art history for selecting certain artists over others as subjects of interest. It looks at 6 women artists from the period as case studies who were connected to the Artists International Association and examines their commitment to Communism/feminism: Pearl Binder, Felicia Browne, Nan Youngman, Edith Tudor-Hart, Peggy Angus. |
