Title | Delivering quality content for intercultural education: the IntCultNet project |
Authors | Mimirinis, M. and Dafoulas, G. |
Abstract | The accelerating development of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has radically transformed the field of learning. Effective communication across cultures is also a key area of development within a globalised context. Aspects of the findings from an EU-funded project for intercultural learning on the internet (IntCultNet) are presented here. Focus is placed on the identification of the target groups. The paper also addresses the possibilities of advanced learning objects, as re-usable digital content that can support learning, in the context of a cultural awareness training project. |
