Abstract | Choosing the most suitable individuals to join software engineering groups and then allocating different roles to each group member is a very complicated process. Some factors that affect this process are requirements of the role, qualifications and preferences of each individual, conflicts between group members due to cultural or personality differences. This paper proposes an object-oriented methodology for modelling dynamic role allocation in software engineering teams. This model can cope with the various factors affecting role allocation and changes in role allocation. This paper also explains the implementation of this model and discusses how a project manager is facilitated in making role allocation decisions. |
